    You're behind a router, I assume?

Yeah I've got a BT hub thing. Sorry if I'm not always correct about what things are called, I'm not that technically literate lol
  3. So like 192.168.1.1. I'm thinking if you've tried all that it's a RS problem, then.

Yeah, fucking RS... One of the things I missed is that the address is fixed, so it doesn't sound like I can actually change it, unless you uncheck the "automatic" box?

And yeah, that is my IP exactly...I'm guessing they're generic or something?

  5. Gonna try now mate - cheers for all this help and advice by the way, I can imagine thinking of solutions etc. may be as frustrating as it is for me at this end lol

    EDIT - Drew m'man, you're a genius, that link worked a treat!

Some great stuff there, I agree.
  7. New question...
You said I could use Foobar to sync the ipod, right? Is there a way to do it with firewire? I know there is a software for it, but anyway to make Foobar do it?

I was having fun with the last question. I'd guess that it'd be the same way as USB. I haven't got Firewire, so I'm not exactly sure.

I just made a webpage for giving you the correct IP address, not the way Windows does.

    http://drewbee.byethost5.com/ip.php

Good night everyone, and have fun downloading!

    sorry for ruining it

iTunes doesn't let you use FireWire...when I connect the iPod, it says on the iPod screen that you can't do file transfer with FireWire...but I did see a software that would let you do it...anyways, tough question I guess
