yea...already done that...couldn't find anything free, there was shareware stuff which would limit the output to 1minute![]()

I've used this in the past for MKV to AVI conversions: http://www.riverpast.com/en/download/
And: http://forum.videohelp.com/topic241422.html

Thanks Drew...in time with useful stuff as always. I don't get what I'm suppsoed to download from the first link, but the second link seems pretty good, will give it a try later (I need to rest!)...thanks a lot mate![]()
Originally posted by Ali709Alright man, the tutorial got me problems, anyway I tried it ended with errors. The link you gave is shareware again, it limits the output (or so it says on the download page).
But on the last page of that tutorial someone had suggested Prism Video Converter, I tried it and it's great, so here it goes for anyone interested:

freeware, user friendly interface...and it works!
Thanks Drew!

Looking for a free program that will allow me to rip audio from youtube, without losing audio quality. Any hints?

I believe www.mediaconverter.org is pretty good. You can do the job online and I think it even allows you to download the software, check it out.
While we are here, the bad news is, I lost my 1st gen iPod Nano, I believe they stole it from me! The good news is, my Dad got me a new nano with video!... anyways, just wanted to ask, do I have to convert the videos myself then put them on the itunes and ipod or does itunes do conversion as well?

You have to convert them yourself, I think. Do you like the new nano?
