  4. I think the whole Atomic Bomb is filled with some of Edge's best material. Vertigo is so chunky and heavy. Miracle Drug has an incredible solo and melody, and even a special moment with him on vocals, Sometimes' melody is just as operatic as Bono's vocals. Love and Peace is HEAVY. City of Blinding Lights is classic, colourful, inventive, Edge. All Because of You is absolutely one of my favorite solo's and my god the crunch in that riff is incredible. There are some nice bits in A Man and A Woman, and I love his backing vocals. Crumbs has a pretty crazy riff and a great solo (even though it is strikingly similar to Walk On in many respects). One Step Closer is a good number, solid melody. Original is really a magical piece, I loved it performed live with Edge on guitar, and of course Yahweh has some interesting work on the cd and a nice soothing acoustic quality live. and maybe we can include Fast Cars which is pure fun. Any song that warrants Edge to flamenco dance on stage is worth it.

I think you just hit the nail on the head. Like Adam said "It's a very guitar-oriented record."

  8. by the way, some guys spoke about "love is blindness" . i think its a magical finsher for AB. the performence of this song from zootv dublin 28.8.93 is just terrific, out of this world. the edge there is on his best.

And he's just so into it. Look at his face during the solo. He's gone off to somewhere else. Awesome.
  11. his Bass 'riff' from '40' also deserves a mention
  12. Out of Control. That pretty much sums up that riff.
    Sunday Bloody Sunday.
