There's also very fast growing emo population here in Croatia, me make laugh of them all the time : )))

    Fucking fantastic stuff there, Yogi!

Emos, too many of them around the place...

As for saddest lyrics, I have to say that SYCMIOYO hits me hard - "a house doesn't make a home" being the line that does it for me. So true.

Mothers Of The Disappeared too, such a powerful song that stands out amongst a whole catalogue of emotionally evocative songs...

yup.... a lot of songs carry weight, especially nowadays
  4. Saddest lyrics, that would be Wake Up Dead Man, SYCMIOYO and what about Peace On Earth? Think that one is sad too...
  5. when i look at the world
  6. 'love is blindness' and 'sometimes you can't make it on your own'..

and, depending on whether it's really well performed, 'stay (faraway, so close!)'

I don't understad that. Lyrics are lyrics. Stay' lyrics are the same performed by me, Edge, John Lennon or George Bush.
  8. So Cruel defienetly the saddest song along with Peace On Earth

yes, but sometimes it touches me more when bono really sings his soul out, so to say
I know he always gives his best, but sometimes he just.. gets better to the point than usually.

and you don't want to tell me that it's always the same song to you no matter who sings it? lyrics aren't just words which can be sung by anyone and still mean the same

Alright, I understood and agree now

Well, we wouldn't feel the same if The Rolling Stones played Mothers Of The Disappeared, that's right.
But the lyrics and their meaning are ABOVE the performance or (and) the performer, ALWAYS.
  12. How about 2 shots of happy, one shot of sad? its not really sad but its deep and dark a little. haha i love it tho. they should try more songs like that.
