1. UK's had a fair bit of snow the last 2 weeks:-

This is where I went for a walk yesterday:-

Not my photo sadly, camera died as it was minus 18C on top...
  2. City of Adelaide - taken at the River Torrens near the rotunda. It was about 10 degrees - much nicer than the 45 degrees for the last week.

Hallet Cove - I'd never been there before, but it would have been about 3.30 in the afternoon and about 30 degrees, so a nice day.

  3. I can't decide if it's beautiful or scary. I love snow....when it's outside and I'm inside.

  4. this is about a 15 minuts boat-trip from where I live

soccermatch where I live, hoping U2 will play this stadium some day

    my homeplace from a helicopter
(I live about 1,5 cm above the waterfall you can see(1,5 cm in the picture)

    NewZealand?
  6. cool picture of the UK with the snow Dan. Just funny though about how little snow there is compared to Chicago when I heard about it on the news. Must be quite an adventure, because the UK isn't use to that much snow!
  7. beautiful places!!!!
  8. Here's a shot I took in October 2008 by a soccer field near my home in the northern part of the state of Maine, USA (I can see Canada from my house).

and here are some photos that I pulled from my town's website:

Welcome sign of my town. It may be a bit boring at times, but it's a nice, safe and scenic place to live.

pretty typical to see a moose in my area.

    typical winter landscape.

part of downtown, i'm guessing in the summer.

    more downtown

the small boring stretch of downtown

the "business" part of town, mainly restaurants, gas stations and other stores.

    local library

the USA/Canada border. USA is the near side, Canada the far side.

Catholic church I attend. Very nice inside, too.

So yep, that's where I live.

  9. Big lol, love these cold winters. Should appear more often.
