1. I have a little bit weird question, but I'm searching for some good version of NYD from Zooropa leg of Zoo TV and I'd like to know if there's any Zooropa show when he sang the line 'the chosen few' in full voice, not in falsetto, but like he used to before. I've only heard versions where he gets to falsetto. Thank you
  2. 1993-05-10 - Rotterdam

Listen to Bono's opening 'yyyeaaaaaaahhhh'. Its longer than the big note from Miss Sarajevo
  3. Bono has a go at 'Chosen Few' on 1993-06-02 - Frankfurt. Its a half-hearted attempt but better than the falsetto.

1993-06-06 - Stuttgart is the same as above.
    1993-06-15 - Berlin

Thats all I could find at first glance. (Don't expect UF or War vocals)
  4. Useful info Gerard, thanks. Has he given it a go since ZooTV to anyones knowledge?
  5. thanks for info, I think he's been decreasing on this song since Zooropa, just compare ZOO TV sydney version with Washington D.C....
  6. I'm not a big fan of NYD on the Zoo TV at all. The link Until THe End + Wild HOrses is much, much better than Until The End + NYD.

NYD had its moment from November 1984 to December 1987. Period.

I love NYD from every era,It's my beloved song, but I agree that best versions come from 80's. Have you heard some version from Conspiracy of Hope? those versions beat everything

Cmon, ZooTV Sydney version is also not bad vocal-wise. I like the 2nd verse there very much.

Its not bad in any way. I'd just rather here is full vocal talent and not some falsetto.
