  8. Never underestimate the usefulness of violence and technology.

    Format it via Windows > go My Computer, right click, Format and format the iPod. Then try it again in iTunes - not saying it's gonna work but it may just work for you. If it doesn't work or show in iTunes try what Ali does with his nano:

    http://www.rockbox.org/ - it's an alternative iPod software which supports all formats like FLAC, AAC, MP3, WMA etc and games and other cool stuff. And you can change the themes, and the biggest benefit of all: no more iTunes! Great software.
