    I've been on a bit of a hiatus from U2start and everything due to end of year exams and now its ALL OVER. So anyone kind enough to tell me the large updates like the new Joshua Tree album and the new b-sides?

    I think this is the most recent news that anyone's got:-

    On U2's next album, due sometime in 2008, Lanois and Eno have become full partners in the band's writing process for the first time -and Lanois says the spirit of the project reminds him of The Joshua Tree. " This new work has it's emotion entact," he says. " Eno has come up with these incredible exotic beginnings: He's been playing these things that transport you to a picturesque place. We're going to make the big one".
