  1. I'm brand new to getting into trading DVDs, and I'm really particular about the covers looking really professional. I've found some great covers on the web, but it seems to be really hit-and-miss on how pixelated the images look when I print them out. Can anyone offer me any sort of advice on the best way to print these out, or point me in the direction of a good website? How important is DPI?

  2. DPI is very important. It should be at least at 300 if you want perfect printed cover...

    I started to make my own covers because I was frustrated with most of them...they're usually very ugly and low-res.

  3. Your work is legendary, Yogi, and I'm incredibly grateful for it. I did have some problems printing the cover you made for the "Guitar Heroes" DVD, as it turned out a little pixelated still. The image itself looks stunning on my computer, so I don't understand why.

    I took your image, then resized it down to 10.75 inches x 7.29 inches in Photoshop. Should I not do that? When I opened the .gif file in Photoshop, it said it was like 42 inches wide or something like that.

    Thanks again for your work. It's truly stunning.

    Yes, you shouldn't reduce its size.

    Here's what you should do.

    Opet image in Photoshop, go to IMAGE --> ROTATE CANVAS 90° CW.

    Ok, now go to FILE --> PRINT WITH PREVIEW.

    On the new window which looks like this:



    You have to change values under SCALED PRINT SIZE section so they'll look like this:



    And, please, let me know if the printed result is better now!

  6. I´d like to make my own covers. I´d choose the pictures, make the templates and print de covers. In general the low-res of the covers in the web... sucks!!!!

  9. Hello guys, I´m from Spain and I´ve found this lovely place, I love U2 since twenty years ago. I´m not very proud on searching webs so, it´s difficult for me sailing through this kind of webs. I´ve learned how to download U2 Live CD , I´ve download my first U2 concert in Spain (Madrid 1987) and the last one (Madrid 2005). I´ve noticed that there are DVD covers too, how can I download the DVD?, or where can I find it?
