I like your plan Gerard, I believe it can successfully add what our Bootleg section needs, that is any useful kind of reviews and comments. By now it's only possible to choose bootlegs for the sound quality and for the number of the downloads, that's not always enough to know the real quality of a show. It's important to point anyhow when a show has something extraordinary, any exceptional performance and so on... This is why I suggested the top-contributors list, but now i see the way of the discussion in a topic is better.

You seem like a fella that appreciates the finer qualities and lesser known points of a particular show so I think it would be worth your while joining us some week. Glad we could help.

    posting without knowing would be interesting but on second thought the postcount is just a number and doesn't really mean anything so. . .

    As you said I like the good quality, I always search for those little elements (an extra verse by Bono or a different solo by Edge and so on) that can make a performance extraordinary just like Bad at LiveAid or New Year's day with the "accidental" different solo by Edge in Amsterdam (ask Remy for further information ). And I also search for song played live just because of the particular date or place, like Miss Sarajevo live in Sarajevo or that stunning performance of Sunday Bloody Sunday in Slane Castle "3 years after Omagh". And so on...
    So I hope one day all these things will be known and available for everyone even before downloading the show, and of course I'm ready to do everything I can to make this real.

    the only way you can pick up on these little gems is by listening to the complete shows. Hold off until you see a show that interests you in the round table then you can jump in. Always welcome
