1. hi everyone, hope you all had a good christmas.
I am in the market for some new headphones. i want some in-ear sound isolating one (i dont want any big bulky ones). I was thinking of sennheiser CX400, shure scl2. or shure SE210. has anyone got any of these, or have different ones to recommend?? i mainly listen to rock/pop and some RnB. Any help appreciated.
  2. Since a month ago (or even more) there has been a interesting chatting about that Earphones issue. A Crew Member of us (Germcevoy, Gerard) wanted to buy a new ones, and he received some rercommendations. If I recall good, that Sennheiser CX400 were one of the earphones which surfaced. Everyone said they were great...
  3. Indeed, the CX400 of Sennheiser. Got the CX300 of Sennheiser myself and these rock too. Great sound and no ambient sound at all. Just awesome! If I were you, I'd buy these.
  4. Yep, another vote for Sennheiser CX300 / 400 here. I have the 300's and they're great. Cheap for the quality too.
  5. I think earphones are a "secondary" matter; if you lie the music, it can be heard through a wall: you will ike it the same. I don't have any special earphones, and probably enjoy my music the same as you all do
  6. for value for money you've got to have the CX300/CX400. I think the 300's are one amazon for under £20. Don't be fooled by the price though, they are the real deal.
  7. $16.99 on Play.com with free delivery. Thats got to be tempting

Well, I don't agree with you on that. When I compare my old Sennheiser MX500 with the new CX300, it's a very huge difference. WOWY, for example, was never so beautiful and so close. The bass, the guitars, the drums...just lovely.

But I also understand you point of view. U2 is U2 and music is music, it certainly gives you the same feeling. If I compare Chicago DVD-rip with the Saitama bootleg, Chicago sounds better, but Saitama wins easily, because the feeling is much better.

Yes yes I know, but you understood the idea behind my post. Of course, I LOVE hearing even the cough of Brian Eno on the recording room, but I don't mind if I have to listen my music on ANY kind of earphones. Nowadays I'm with a shitty ones I stole from a bus travel to Barcelona... And they're GREAT, becuase through them I hear MUSIC. That's all and enough for me.

Why does that happen me with the 90% of the people on this forum?!?!?
  12. if you are used to a set of shitty earphones then they are all you know. It's only when you hear the same musice through a set of quality plugs when you start hearing the music in a different light. My CX300's changed how I listened to music. My new Bose system has changed it even further. I do not exaggerate when I say U2 sounds ten times better through my Bose or CX300's than it did through my white apple headphones
