    no-one can say for sure but it would be hard to bet against October/November or maybe a little earlier so they could get the first single out at the end of the summer. Or alternatively they could launch the first single in the run up to christmas. Who knows

    I think so. There's a whole bunch of Hanover Quay photos in the U2byU2 book - this was on the bottom. And Levitate may have been a starting version of City of Blinding Lights - it was supposedly written during ATYCLB and Bono mentions the song was taking place during 1999-2000 as that's in there too on the white board.

    From the new album sessions, these could be some working titles.

    If I Could Live My Life Again
    Love Is All We Have Left
    North Star
    Mercy
    Lead Me In The Way I Should Go
    You Can't Give Away Your Heart

    And on the whiteboard in the Morocco photos was a song called "Bird". I have a feeling it's Wave of Sorrow (Birdland). Someone here, I don't remember who, had a massive list from Eno's notebook of all U2 demos.

  11. Bought this months Q magazine (Bono on front cover). There was a kinda Glastonbury preview which had an interview with the dude that runs it. Q were fishing for band names and the guy said 'I'll not tell you who we've spoken to but I can tell you that we won't be putting on U2, The Rolling Stones or Niel Diamond'. Nothing we didn't expect but just thought i'd share the news.
