that would be cool I really like the music vids anton made over the years with grönemeyer, depeche mode and u2 (except electrical storm, isn't one of my favs..).

That would be cool man. I think Anton's nothing but a creative perfectionist, so the video will be good. The video for One IMO is just amazing. Which other videos has he directed?

Expect an announcement by the 1sdt 2 weeks in September regarding a single to be released about the 2nd or 3rd week in October - preceding the mid November album release.

i agree, this album is gonna be my very first as a totally u2 fan. before that i liked the music, but not as i do now.

and: on the dutch free record shop site the release date of the new album is october 31.

I'm relaxed about the new album. My expectations are low, so they can only get exceeded. If the new stuff isn't what I want, I'll just keep listening to their old stuff. I did so in the last 10 years, I'll do it for another 4 until the next album is out and the game begins again.

If the new album is great - even better. I'll have a reason why I spend tons of cash on them.

Apart from that, there are so many other great bands out there that another mediocre U2 album can't shock me.

so @u2 posted some stuff...funny how its stuff we already knew. as for november 14th, we have yet another made-up date.

if @u2 is so great, why are they posting stuff we already know?

this news on the new album topic is miles ahead of @u2 if you ask me.
