    another thing to take into account, could be, how much capacity would that usd drive need to hold a "perfect" audio, pixels on the pictures, etc.... it sounds interesting but it's a little absurd I believe...
    maybe it'll be a blank album, with no covers at all and it will include a cd-rom or some sort of thing like that, with all the sleeves and etc... It's the only way I can imagine now...
    but well... as Gerard said... let's wait.... and suffer 'till the release date is due!!

    Very cool idea, but a little bit unusual. Maybe it will be a CD-ROM; who knows.
  4. I dont like the cd-rom idea. I would expect it to be something within the actual sleeve or case that doesnt need any other device to be used,viewed,watched or whatever. Cd rom sounds a little 1995

    agreed... after I thought about it, it seemed unlikely... cd-roms are OLD NEWS and not ground breaking.....

    That dude who said on the atu2 blog that the band are in talks with Apple for a new iPod - might be a digital co-efficient - early release on iTunes, and you can choose from the iTunes cover design or an alternative one which it comes out by default with.

    There is apparently a new iPod nano coming out. Read about it yesterday on iLounge.

    im still expecting a physical item. There has to be some funky online variants to but theres gonna be something physical there that big Paul wants us to go and purchase. Maybe hes making something so cool that people will just have to buy it rather than download. Im pumped. Time will tell (or some other comments from big Paul)

    I agree, this will possibly be a way of trying to combat illegal Internet downloads by making the CD special. Might be a Pop Up Edge like on the PopMart DVD


  12. After the last range of iPods, hopefully not. It has to be something digital, new age, 21st century...Maybe a memory card you stick in your phone or music player, and have the artwork there as a bonus - it's digital, it's exists within ease of efficiencies and it's visual.


    Some suggestions I've read:

    - CD + DVD + Digital PDF booklet (or web download of exclusive tracks).
    - Interactive visual artwork of some sort packaged with a digital download
