They probably also played it to some journalist in Bono's car, to Jay-Z and a hairdresser, so why not in a beach-house? They did that in the past, too. It's a good way to keep fans interested and it's free promotion...
Whether the people were really there is another question...![]()

I don't know that it has already written here in this topic, but I saw a rumour tracklist for the new album in a Hungarian U2 site:
01. The Cedars Of Lebanon
02. Moment Of Surrender
03. For Your Love
04. One Bird
05. No Line On The Horizon
06. It's Six O'Clock
07. If I Could Live My Life Again
08. Love Is All We Have Left
09. North Star
10. Mercy
11. Lead Me In The Way I Should Go
12. You Can't Give Away Your Heart
I don't know we can believe in this, but i think it's very exciting. I'm really waiting for the new album!

I think it's just a list people made up from some sources.
Most of them are songs U2 mentioned in interviews about their recordings for the new album, and some are 'confirmed' tracks as mentioned in an article by the Sunday Mirror (I believe) few days ago.

I think, if they were really afraid about people recording their in-work songs, they wouldn't let fans hang out in front of the studio, the wouldn't play tracks to fans, they wouldn't play new songs at a volume easily audible by passing tourists...
What they worry about imo is that copies of the masters or other studio quality outtakes might leak. And they're right about that.
