    you never know... of course I hope it will be earlier, and every 'inside' source always said that the album will be released arround november/october so.

  5. Well... Edge, Bono and McGuinness... and Eno.... and Lanois have all said late October to mid November... so the "January" claim doens't seem so accurate.

    Ever since the Popmart debacle U2 has gone more and more on the commercial tour. Since Popmart they release albums in November, first singles in October and the last few years they're releasing everything they can just to make some more money and product sales (DVD's, remasters etc.). This album won't be an exception, the album is ready according to several sources and November is be the perfect month to release an album, they also will have a bump in sales during Christmas which will help a lot..

  8. Didn't Pauly McG say in "U2 by U2" that they won't release an album unless it's the last quarter of the year (Christmas rush)? I thought he said that if they missed that timetable, they'd just wait a whole 'nother year.

  10. I dislike the name 'Sexy Boots', primarily because if it isn't 'sexy' it could become something of a joke, to Gen X anyway.

    What are your thoughts on the title "No Line On The Horizon"? Do you guys like the name? And anyone have any ideas about what it means?

    I'm guessing that the length of the title, is a fairly good indicator that the album will have sonic continuity with HTDAAB and ATYCLB, and so create an album trilogy. (as some believe)
  11. If they release it in January, if they wait that long when we have been hearing it's close to being done for like a year now, I'm going to be REALLY pissed off.

    I disliked the title at first--I thought it was too long and too cliched. It's grown on me now, though. Of course, I'd have to hear the music to really get a good opinion on it...

    What is the title referring to? Hopefully their career...
