Although not attributed directly to Edge, that does lend credence to some rumblings we've heard recently from multiple sources that the band isn't satisfied with several tracks and may push the album release to early 2009.

The HTDAAB official announcement came August the 15th or something. I hope it's coming, it's gotta be soon!

The interview is certainly several weeks old, if not older. Word is, that they passed the recording sessions to France as they were not happy with some songs, though. That might be true, that might be not true.
Even if we get a release in 2009, it would probably be early in the year. Some sources point to January. So, November - January not that much of a difference.
