If this is the case surely they'd release the single before the movie comes out.

mmm not really... remember Eno's or Lanoi's movie, I'm not quite sure which of them was it who had the documentary "Here is what is" or something like that... in the documentary suppossedly (as I haven't seen the film myself, so I really don't know) there are a few screenshots and interviews in Morocco, when he was recording with U2.... and you can hear a few riffs or something...

This is a bit different though. This is a major feature film with Edge as THE star playing a song that hasn't been released yet. Doesn't make sense.

The style of writing (and the Daily Mirror / The Sun) made me instantly suspicious, but they do have a habit of playing Croke Park, so it's probably on the money. Anyway, I'll be getting tickets as soon as that store opens, let me tell you - I ain't missing out at all.

The film and the album are two totally different things - also Edge is just playing a riff or two of the song two document the working process. No big deal.

The same here. I will be able to do it since I'm 18 already and I'm quite free... Next summer I will surely do some trip, and if it contains seeing U2 in Dublin it would be superb. Keep me in mind guyz
