Yep. But then again these "tix" would mean that I can't buy them for 10 bucks 5 minutes before the show. Shit.

Your lucky enough then to be visiting shows that aren't sold out. It,l be interesting to see how this pans out. could you imagine it going wrong?? Haha lol would be my thoughts

Well, the shows actually were sold out. But the scalpers obviously couldn't resell their tix - so I could get them cheap. Worked twice...

I agree with Yeah. I use stubhub for a lot of my tix...so i can get preferable seating (ie floor, etc.). While it will stop scalpers, it will prevent others from being able to go because the shows 'sold out'.

    lucky!
  6. It was random stadium gigs in Germany and France, though. Can't really see that working in Ireland or indoor shows in some other european countries.
And if that paperless ticket comes, that's over anyway. Although I didn't really get how it should work. Some kind of codes or what?

  7. My friends and i use stubhub, a ticket resale site. How can someone wait in line for tix if they have school, for example?
  8. Don't you have an ordinary online-presale in the US?
  9. It will have to be codes. though surely you can sell tour code? (i wouldnt trust some ebay seller flogging a code though). I just hope they dont over complicate it.

  10. We have ticketmaster, which i rarely use because the tix are randomly picked. For instance, for $100 theres a seat for the Coldplay gig I plan on buying, very soon, that goes for 100 dollars. The seat is lodge, row 1. On ticketmaster ya cant find a seat at all. It's sold out. If ticket resale is gone, then my chances of going to a U2 concert are slimmer.
