I could see Bono wanting to tap into the hip hop scene. No idea why but just for some reason

Don't you just love remixes? And don't forget, a couple of new songs for an incentive. That's great business right there.
Maybe they'll play a small show at Christmas, at the O2 or even New Year's, something like the Brooklyn Bridge show or Radio One 2004 brodcast, but with songs they haven't played in ages - When Love Comes To Town, Van Diemen's Land, Stay - three songs not played in a good few years or over a decade.

Stay was played during Elevation however...but looking back, that's already 7 years too. Almost 8.
Your idea is great though. Oh man, a surprising christmas-gig with golden oldies like 11 O 'Clock and All Along the Watchtower.

It comes from the idea of the songs played recently at various events. Stay was at the Mencap event, wasn't it (for the Little Noise Sessions)?
