I see...that is good...having one thing or another is nice...but 10 billion versions of the same thing is a bit unhealthy.

So, this is great news, I read the topic title and I thought "ow my god, they're gonna delay it", but the news was great!
BTW, this means that Bono being in Cannes isn't that much of a delay for the studio work...at least he's in the correct country!

  12. Hey, this is somethin I heard from our swedish U2 site
    About the new album

According 2 them, they heard from the spanish site u2valencia.com that U2 have returned 2 Dublin today after a little break
And that they got one of the producers with them, Daniel Lanois, and Steve Lilywhite
Lilywhite left Mercury Records 2 produce the bands latest studio album "How to dismantle an atomic bomb" in 2004.
Its now possible that his been called in too help with the mixin the new album too come
As of yet, its only speculations until its been confirmed official
The spanish sites transmitted are reporting that he were invited by Bono
When he stood outside the Hanover Quay Studios too hear new songs in the studio
That has been described as "psychedelic pop"
According too u2valencia.com the song is instrumental and has african influences in the beginnin and in the end of the song.
The song, who´s name unfortunetly remains unknown
Are further explained as too having a "powerful" bass line
And Lilywhite seemed very excited over the track in question

I translated it so u blame me if u cant understand somethin *LOL*

Dunno if u heard this already
And Im not quite sure how that goes with goin 2 France
But at least it might give an idea about the sound of the new album
