I try not to believe what Bono says. If I hear it from Edge, I pretty much believe it. If Larry and Adam say something, I really believe it.
  2. Nevertheless, it sounds great.. Can't wait.... Rocking trough Christmas with the new U2 in 2008..
  3. Paul McGuinness' comments about it being specifically a "collaborative" effort makes it sound likes its not a proper U2 album, i dont know, i just dont remember hearing UF, JT, AB, ATYCLB, as being collaborations. Is this suggesting that they have done much more than produce it?

Well, what BONO says is 90% of the times completely bullshit, but when The Edge, Paul McGuiness, a disc label, all the critic etc. is saying it... I think we'll have to believe it

Wasn't there an article some time ago about Eno and Lanois co-writing songs?

Also, not really about the new album and not the best source but interesting nevertheless:

    I only want the DVD
  7. instead of remastering "under a blood..." which countains only 8 tracks, why not realse a new live album, or maybe even combain between the new album and live versions of songs from the past album (like rattle & hum )

Hm, we got 4 live releases in the last 2 years. How many more do you need?

Yep, the DVDs plus the Fanclub CD releases.
  11. any way if the plan to remaster "under a blood.." maybe they can add some tracks like seconds and surrender or two hearts beat as one.

You can be pretty sure that, if that rumour becomes true, they won't just release a remastered version and that's it.
I personally expect a combined release of War remastered plus the Red Rocks DVD, though.
