God I hope not, the Chilli Peppers did that and people were saying that they did it because they're "big enough" to do it, and to me it smacks of arrogance and UOOA Syndrome (Up One's Own Arse...)...

But shit, that's my opinion! And we're all entitled to our own, hey? (apart from Casper 'cause he doesn't have PopMart...)

PS - thefly07, I really hope you're not losing sleep over this lol!

If the Peppers had put their best songs on one album, it would have been the best album for years.

When did they release Stadium Arcadium?

I've said this since 2003 that (at the time) "The one after the next one will be the best"

    Honest to God.

And i'll hold true to it.

Thats the Chili Peppers.... remember how they presented themselves onstage at one time. U2 arent the chili peppers. In a way, the Joshua Tree is a double album. take all the songs that are connected with Streets, WOWY and Still Havent Found and some other stuff. Same could go for Achtung and its B-sides. Of all the bands I know, U2 has the most B-sides and miscellanies.

The Rolling Stones came out with Exile On Main Street in 1972. To me its one of their best works. Sure, some of the songs stick out from the album, but all of them are good. The Stones couldve made a single album and put the other songs as B-Sides on singles and have their best album ever.

I just wanna see U2 come out with more than 12 songs on their next album. To me I think theyre superstitious about the number 13....

May 2006. After the first listen, I thought it was crap. But after some more listens, it thought it was brilliant. Not all the songs, but there are many. Like I said, put these best songs together and you have a golden album.

I don't care how many there are to be honest lol - as long as they knock my musical block off, I'll be happy

U218 was thus the best release of 2006 , even without The Fly, WGRYWH, Out Of Control etc. (some of U2's best singles )

Sorry, I just seriously dislike RHCP lol.

the longest U2 song (that I have) is Lemon at 6:58. the longest of what I have come from TUF and R&H.

I'm only trying to guess what they meant by un-U2ish. In fact thats all Ive been trying to do.

Psychedlic Pop, stare at the lava lamp and watch yourself melt.

    dibs on that line btw
