    As for RHCP, theyre left field to me. Theyre rock imposters to me. it just sounds odd and cold. I only like two songs by them, nothing more.

In a way, the Joshua Tree is a double album. take all the songs that are connected with Streets, WOWY and Still Havent Found and some other stuff. Same could go for Achtung and its B-sides. Of all the bands I know, U2 has the most B-sides and miscellanies.

    The Rolling Stones came out with Exile On Main Street in 1972. To me its one of their best works. Sure, some of the songs stick out from the album, but all of them are good. The Stones couldve made a single album and put the other songs as B-Sides on singles and have their best album ever.

    I just wanna see U2 come out with more than 12 songs on their next album. To me I think theyre superstitious about the number 13....

    it'd be great to have an album chocked full of songs but i'm guessing it will be a record of 11 or 12 great songs. i'd love to be proven wrong though

    a double album would be cool. Not sure if they'd have enough material though
  10. i don't get it.. when i see interviews edge says "we're trying to figure out what songs will make it on the album" ... put as many as you can on! u2 certainly know what they are doing but i mean come on. if you have 11-12 great songs and 2 "so-so" songs who cares?? i'd rather hear the 2 so so songs as well rather to just be left behind and found out years later.

    As long as you're proved wrong on the numbers alone, rather than the songs not being great
