According 2 them, Daniel Lanois recently made this interview with a french-canadian magazine called "Voir"
And revealed a new song title on the new album
He said that U2´s album is practically done, and he feels really satisfied with the work
Especially the bass guitar makes him proud
As many times before he repeates that, this is goin 2 be one of U2´s most magnificent albums
He continues to tell more about a certain track.
"Jimi Hendrix" visits me from time to time.
I´ve taken that influence to the studio and it inspired me to try a whole new concept.
It probably shows on one of the tracks called "The Cedars of Lebanon."

Good point..... perhaps a blend? I don't know, but I know one thing about this song. Its about being strong in a tough situation. These trees are seen as very stirdy trees, kind of like our view of an Oak tree.

Maybe..... maybe its political and religious. Being strong in a tough situation.... something the people of Lebanon face every day with all the problems going on.
