1. Watching a bit of HAARP, been to long Muse
  2. I really like this group. They've taken an interesting fusion between hard rock and classical and I really like that dichotomy. Butterflies and Hurricanes serves as the perfect example. Right now the only bootleg I've got from them is their Glastonbury 2010 performance and it's one of my favorites.

However, while they are good, I don't see myself doing the whole GA experience for a Muse gig as I did with U2. The main reason is that the GA for Muse concerts are notorious for mosh pits and I'd rather not get battered and bruised at a concert.

They're back in the studio and I'm excited to see what they come up with.
  3. ahn, I see your point on the GA thingy, but let me tell you: I've only been to one Muse concert and I was with my aunt, 32 years old and never went to any concert in the GA... She was scared that she'd get crushed and battered but no, althoug people around her (including me ) were doing pogos and mosh pits, they were also careful not to hurt anyone who didn't fancy pogoing with them. Maybe it changes with the country or something, but the GA experience here in Madrid was less wild and dangerous than what you see on the UK or France concerts for example.

    +1 for USA
  5. and for Aus
  6. uk is not a good GA experience for muse, certainly not at the front. have been about 4th back at wembley stadium and at leeds festival was even closer. my partner was quite scared at times with all the shoving and jumping, she's only 5'4" so we moved back.

uk ga would be ok from 1/3 of the way back or at the sides but wouldn't recommend it for ladies myself.
  7. I can see the UK having a rougher GA setting since Muse is huge over there. I'm not sure about the US, but my experience with a lot of those music festivals is that mosh pits can form at the drop of a hat.
  8. from my experience, GA at a Muse show - in the UK anyway - is not the way to go, as a lot of the hardcore fan attendees are (quite frankly) excessively pushy, shove-y arseholes.

if you want to actually enjoy it, get seats or move nearer the back.
  9. You can get some right nobs in at a GA show in the UK, especially Scotland. If there are like 3 people late to a show, they will just shove through everyone and cause mayhem. Arseholes.
  10. It's AMAZING, I can't understand why people vote it negatively, did they think it was a serious cover? hahaha... It's so funny and well structured
