For whatever reason, I have only recently (and just somewhat) started attending more concerts - and therefore showing my support for particular musicians in this way. That said, I have always considered myself to be a massive U2 fan. Was kidding myself????

Sure you weren't. Let's take the example of The Beatles, without whom none of the music we listen to nowadays would be the same; they stopped touring almost 50 years ago, so there's very few people who saw them live back in the day. BUT they are still among the most popular and current bands even today, and always will be. Nobody is able to attend a concert by them, but their sales (albums, merch, DVDs, compilations, etc) are bigger than those of many bands that fill up stadiums and arenas today. So, the "live vs. albums" argument is invalid.

Regarding the DVD/bluray/movie, nothing's known about the tracklist, and although I doubt they show the full concert at cinemas, I expect them to include it in full for the physical release
