U2 has held that since 87 for me, but after seeing the 360 tour, I just don't think they can compare with Muse. Maybe it's the fact that Muse is peaking with several albums and tours under their belts, but I would see them again in a heartbeat.

Share your sentiment after seeing them in Portland. I have tickets to see U2 again in Seattle this summer, but I think I'm gonna sell them. Muse was epic.

I think they're amazing, but still don't hold up to U2 for me. Mainly because Matt hasn't got the presence of Bono.

And to think that we were moaning about the songs in the playlist for U2 - Muse setlist barely varies and is only 17 songs!!

Too harsh on our own band? Me thinks so.

  4. Ab-so-lu-te-ly +1 to Dan. Muse plays the same short setlist (with 0 or 1 variations night over night) every night

PS. Maybe the fact that they nail the songs every night has to do with the fact that their live shows are the most appreciated right now.
  5. Downloaded a Muse bootleg. Berlin last year. Taped by wb (the same guy who did U2 in Berlin). Great sound

  6. 2009-09-07? That was broadcasted too, then

I didn't know you're into Muse, Gerard. Which albums do you have?

  7. 2009-10-29 is the date. Great audience recording.

I don't own a single muse album. Just fancied a bootleg
  8. You'd better get your hands over the HAARP show (preferibly the video over just the audio, but whatever) which took place on Wembley Stadium 2007-06-16&17 - it's released commercially, and also over their Glasto show in 2004-06-27. Probably their best shows ever
  9. hahahahahaha, fantastic review of the 2010-03-13 Michigan show
Was at this show with my 9-year-old son...his first real big-time major concert of a band he loves. They blew my mind to the point that I actually thanked HIM for begging me for tickets!!!
I'm really craving to see them, my paranoia is in bloom!!!!
  10. Wow, Jeremy, thanks a lot for the link!!

I posted this a few weeks ago:
    http://u2start.com/topic/7470/
and that included Uprising, Resistance, Map of the Problematique, Supermassive Black Hole, Hysteria, Undisclosed Desires, Starlight, Plug In Baby, Unnatural Selection, Stockholm Syndrome and Knights of Cydonia...

The link you've provided to us contains Uprising, Map of the Problematique, Supermassive Black Hole, MK Ultra, Hysteria, United States of Eurasia, Undisclosed Desires, Starlight, Plug In Baby, Unnatural Selection, Exogenesis Pt 1, Stockholm Syndrome, Knights of Cydonia and Resistance.

Therefore are 3 new songs, making up to a total of 14 (out of 19 of the full concert)... Not bad at all

I will rip those 3 songs this evening, now I don't have the time for it... But I will, and then I will update my post and my mediafire link.

    Thanks, Jeremy
  11. Muse finally come to my country! They will headline Rock For People festival - can't wait!!
