  1. I have made a similar topic before, but it doesn't excist anymore(the search engine can't find it)..

    so, here it is again.

    My question: what does Bono sing during 40, Paris 1987 around 3:38 (at my own ripping)?
    For me, it sounds like:
    No noby couldn't feel more pain,
    No body couldn't (unknown).

    He repeats this one more time before continuing with the known lyric.
    I think this version rocks hard, by the way. I love the one from Dortmundt 1984 and Point Depot 12-31, but this one may be even better, especially the energy in the end and around 4:25, there's that beautiful sort of melody...just awesome. After Bad and Streets, this one is my 3th favourite song live.

  12. Much better versions than the Madrid one out there. One of the great things about 40 played live is when the crowd keep singing when Bono stops.

    Try Chicago1987.04.29,Tempe 1987.12.20 or Dublin 1989.12.31. And lets not forget Red Rocks from 1983.06.05. Irving Plaza from 2000.05.12 is another worthy of mention.
