but it was amazing a very great light show ....
also because there where more lights in the stadium because they broadcasted
a part and was sending it out over europe ....on tv

yep. If you type in popmart on youtube a few interviews will come up with canada. It started during the day as the tv station showed some live clips. That is also when Bono was coming out in the blue boxing robe and not the black one

Dublin was a stadium show so that the stands took much of rest of daylight at the start of the show. Daylight was not a big thing that day. Also Dublin was near the end of summer.
Cologne was a plain field. Show day was a wonderful summer day. I rembember the show starting under full dayligth sun! You could not see anything on the screens but the sound was brilliant and the band´s playing was so great that no one complained. But it needed a lot of time to get the sun out of the screen...
