We sung happy birthday to Chris in English and in Portuguese, and he loved! The funny fact was the drummer singing the happy birthday song in portuguese too!
There were 65.000 people at Morumbi stadium, and they all went nuts when the opera song was played before the show's begging. Viva La Vida, Fix You, Lovers In Japan and Life In Technicolor II are the highlights in my opinon, the last one closing the show with losts of colourfull fireworks. The butterflys are fucking awesome, and I really would love to see something similiar in a U2 gig. No words about Chris Martin too. He's an excelent "show captain" in my opinion, jumping and talking in Portuguese all the time.
I heard they're recording new stuff and will release it in november or december. I really can't wait to see then here again. Not an U2 show, but almost there, and with a great energy!![]()
Greetings from Brazil![]()
Good stuff Aidan, was able to catch them twice last summer, agree with everything you've said. Cheers .
Wish i had the oppurtunity to see it but i dont think ill be so lucky being in NZ as far as i know, i havent even heard of release dates for U2 touring here, or am i such a pathetic fan ive missed the announcement?.. haha
But you had the chance to see Kings Of Leon and I really want to watch then here, but I think they don't know about Brazilian existence haha...And don't worry, no U2 shows scheduled in NZ or Brazil....Still wainting too, and gosh...Coldplay should play in NZ, but their tour is in the end and I don't believe it will happen
