  7. So I heard Every Teardrop Is a Waterfall, first single of a new album to be released in the autumn will be released on 4 June. Curious to see what direction they might be going with this new album.

    Im also excited. Been waiting for some new Coldplay stuff for a long time. Says the song will be streaming for free on their website as well.

    Will it also be produced by Brian Eno? I'm certainly curious too.

    On a related note: if the next U2 album will be out this Autumn, it might prove hard to compete with Coldplay - just because they're younger, talented, and perhaps fresher. Unless U2 pull out another commercially successful album out of the hat. Unless Bono was meaning Autumn 2012 by 'next Autumn' the other day...

  11. I think he might have meant he heard that the song will be released on June 4, not that he heard the actual song?
  12. Yeah, it's not been released yet. I don't think it will leak either, it's not the album but a single, and they're going to offer it in full streaming on their website, so no sense in leaking it. We will have to wait until Saturday.

    Funnily enough, this small piece of news regarding Coldplay is raising more expectation (in a U2 forum!!! ) than the resuming of the biggest tour in history
