1. i thought that too, pretty hypnotic and spacey.

but yeah, back on topic, new ETIAWF EP on itunes now guys! i'll buy it tomorrow i think, since i doubt i'd be able to give it justice tonight.
  2. Can't believe that people are still bothering comparing Coldplay to U2.

Coldplay is a pop band. They're truly great band but they never wrote true, loud, big rock song. Never. And probably never will. But it's fine, they have something theirs and I don't see any reason why to compare them to U2.

    Suck this...whoever. LOL
  3. Who the heck started the comparison anyway? I know, this guy:

  4. Can't believe they are about to show Coldplay in the states live from Glastonbury
on Paladia but didn't show U2. Suck! But ill watch anyway.
  5. Wow I think Coldplay actually did better than U2. Which is because as you guys have said, Coldplay are better with festivals. Bono of course acted like he was out to prove something every second the boys were on. But Martin was relaxed! and they even just stopped in the middle of a song!

Of course if we were comparing Coldplay and U2's tour performances U2 would easily flatten Coldplay Plus Coldplay doesn't have a big rock song... Whereas U2 had the super-cool Fly

And stop running Coldplay down for playing new songs, seriously. I think that takes balls - which of course comes from them feeling more comfortable with festivals
That reminds me, U2 had a better effect with the crowds, as they always do on Pride and I still haven't found .

So, now Coldplay is over, anyone planning on watching Beyonce Don't worry I'm not I am really looking forward to the awesome TV On The Radio, Kaiser Chiefs, Queens of the stone age combination

you're absolutely spot on that it does take balls!! these guys have always been willing to jump straight into playing new songs... The VLV tour the played pretty much every song on that album and early concerts consisted of like 6-7 songs from the album. But i agree they put on an amazing performance!! Can't compare because they are completely different bands imo...

  7. all i will say is WOW!

  8. EPIC!!
  9. Moving To Mars is just.....
  10. i just can't stand Chris martins voice after a half hour i went of to bed ....

  11. I don't have a problem with his voice, but I listened to Fix You and Every Teardrop and most of the time he sounds like he's out of breath.
  12. Is there already a decent recording of Coldplay at Glastobury?
