  1. I was also quite serious when I said that their concert films have been of top notch quality. Live 2012 was much better than U2's 360 At The Rose Bowl (although that's not really saying much) and Muse's Live from Rome. I would even say that it tops The Killers Live from the Royal Albert Hall, which is saying a lot. From a simple production standpoint, I really think Coldplay has got it down to a science. Even though people thought it was odd for them to release a concert DVD from such a small tour, I think they've got something good going for them and I wouldn't be surprised to see them milk it for everything it's worth.

    If that leads to more material, I'm perfectly fine with that.
  2. I am convinced Fly On (the main part of O) is their best song since Fix You. Absolute shivers when he gets to the, "maybe one day I can fly next to you"...

  4. I think "O" is the completed/re-imagined version of "Up With The Birds" from the previous album. I mean, there's no reason to use the same metaphor to end two albums unless you felt it was incomplete to begin with.

    Up With the Birds is amazing as well. Best on Myo easily. I think O is more relevant towards Chris' personal life which is really good.
  7. Technically, The Troubles can be seen as a rehash of Moment of Surrender. Musically and thematically the two are very similar.

  10. Damn I was hoping these guys would be the U2 for my generation. A band that I could go and see in 20 years time and tell all the youngens how much better they were when they 1st started.
