1. Hello all! I went to the U23D movie/concert a couple of weeks ago and it got me all energized again to get back into collecting bootlegs. Most of my old reliable sites are gone now and I ran into U2start.com. I'm blown away by the completeness of this site and the ease of it's use.

It seems that when you introduce yourself, you must tell a little U2 related story. Well, I have a very slightly humorous story. When I was in college, me and several friends were lucky enough to acquire U2 tickets in Charlotte, NC for the Zoo TV tour. We made the 5 hour trip, picked up our tickets and noticed that the tickets read Section 0. We were fired up, thinking we were on the floor close to the stage. As we go to our section and try to head down, the usher kept pointing upwards. Evidently, we had misread our tickets and they actually read that it was Section O (not zero). It was quite the downer as we kept climbing the stairs to the second to last row in the arean. That was the only time I have seen U2 live. Again, I said it was only slightyly humorous.

By the way, this site was the only site I have run across that had a copy of the concert I attended. I have searched for years for that boot and finally found here on this website.

Great job to the staff of this website. You guys deserve all the kudos you get!
  2. Welcome! I'm Nate. Hope to see you around in the forums. Have fun here, and don't forget to download!
  3. Hey,
Welcome to U2start. That sure is a story you have.. I know what it's like to be in that section myself. Me and my brother saw U2 at The Glendale Arena in Pheonix for the first night and I wanted to see them the second. Second Night: The highest possible level and standing room only. We didn't even have seats. HA!! We were near the middle of the arena, at least so we got to see the cool visuals!!!!

I have to say U2start has also made my life a little more complete!! Everyone has something to add and everyone has a wealth of U2 information, It's incredible!!
    Enjoy your stay here!!

You were at the Glendale shows? Those 2 shows had the best crowds I've ever heard. (aside from 5-22-1992 - Milan)
  5. Hello there!

    Welcome to U2Start

Enjoy the site as we do
  6. Hey dlvoiles!
I'm Ali from Tehran. You got lucky when you found this place...simply the best U2 fan site and the best site for downloading their bootlegs...if it isn't here, it doesn't exist!

Anyways, have fun, enjoy the place
  7. G'day dlvoiles, and Glendale was my favourite shows as well.

Bad and 40 on the same night...You're very lucky. I think I'll cry if they don't play Bad at my first concert.

When you hear City of Blinding Lights and see the lights go off and the crowd go nuts you'll know it. We probably would have had a video of Adelaide 2006 but I couldn't get a a video-camera for Thursday. Next tour I'll get one though.

I wouldn't mind hearing that myself. I doubt they'll play much Boy stuff on the next tour, because they played it so much on the VT. (we're way off-topic...lol)
