My name's Eduardo, but my oldest friends call me "Ed". You all can call me whichever... I feel that I know so much about you all.

I need to get started on my profile. This site has definitely renewed my love of U2's music. I can't thank you all enough for the interesting reads in the forums. I've been a fan since 1983 (--ouch!--), when I first heard New Year's Day and Sunday Bloody Sunday. But I didn't become obsessed until I heard The Unforgettable Fire--it's still one of the most influential albums in my life.

My name IS really anstratdubh. (kidding) my name is Jeff. Long time listener, first time caller.

And no, my Strat is not a black 1979 like The Edge's older main black Strat. Mine is actually a pewter finished 1998 Clapton, simliar to the one Edge used during ZOOTV.

Saw U2 open for J. Geils Band in 1981-ish and thought - theyr'e peculiar; lots of energy though. And fell in love with each subsequent single, album and tour.

I love this list. Cool people sharing the shows. U2 are cool with us sharing the shows, per the things I've read. So that is a good thing. I'm grateful to them for that and REMY and crew for this page/list/site/thingie.

Ummm... I play drums AND guitar. Obviously Larry and Edge are musicial influences to me. That said, I love all the members of U2 equally. I love that U2: 3D shows each member almost equally. And yes, I did feel like The Edge was sticking the headstock of his 1976 Limited Ed Gibson Explorer in my face during Beautiful Day (U2:3D) to show me that his 1976 Explorer is as cool as MY 1976 Limited Ed Gibson Explorer.
