  3. Barca or Inter? Game on.
  4. .. now go to take the cup !!!
  5. So the final's going to be Bayern - Inter.

Barca were poor tonight. They had the ball around 80% of the time but didn't create many proper chances until the stoppage time. I don't think there should have been the red card, on the other hand, the home team were unable to take advantage of it. Piqué's goal was brilliant and it looks like there was no handball before Bojan's goal so we can say Barcelona were ripped off here. The boy should have headed the ball into the back of the net when he had the chance, though.
  6. Terrible referee and linesmen...

Barca's goal looked offside, but the other one wasnt hands at all. Also the red card was a joke.

Anyway, terrible match. Too bad Barcelona wasnt able to do anything until the 80th minute
  7. However the Inter deserves the ending to Madrid.
  8. I'd hoped for Barca to make it to the final, too bad but I couldn't watch the match, so I have no idea how both teams played. From what you guys wrote so far, Barca was in bad shape tonight? Mmmh. Bayern was hoping for Inter, so let's see what they make of it in the end.

  9. Well they deserved it in the first match. Last night they did nothing but defending. But Barca didnt deserve it either.

    Hope Bayern wins the cup.
  10. Barça was not on bad shape, the problem is that the italians made it soooooo hard. They didn't leave a single chance, 8 players deffending constantly can make it pretty tough to reach the goal. Moreover they were doing faults all the time, and the referee was probably the worst I've seen since I can remember. What a moron.

    Go, München, GO!!!
  11. Delighted, hope Inter go on an win the competition.

Motta was pretty stupid for his actions last night. There was simply no point in raising your hand in that situation, he had complete control of the ball and a simple step in the direction of Busquets would've been enough to shield him off. Full marks to Busquets though for playacting. He was hit under the chin, so why he was holding his face I don't know and you've got to love his little peek through his hands to check his performance.

After that you'd pretty much expect Inter to be on the back foot for the remaining hour of football and they were. So criticising Inter's approach is daft. They had a job to do - concede less than 2 goals and to be fair, they defended brilliantly. And to say Barcelona were poor is being somewhat kind to them in my opinion. Barca, quite simply, could not break Inter's defence down. Barcelona's approach play was good, they played the ball about 30-40 yards out and were evidently trying their best to break Inter. Trying to stretch their defence out wide to create more space in the centre for Messi and Xavi but Inter (through Mourinho's man management) were extremely well disciplined and were not going to be toyed with.

Credit where credit's due, Pique scored a fantastic goal for a centre back. Great composure inside the box to sell Cordoba and give himself a clear strike on goal. Could be argued that Barcelona were dealt a major blow with Bojan's dissallowed goal. Toure didn't deserve to be penalised for handball. The referee had a poor night. Gave many contentious decisions.

Ah well, all is done. Mourinho deserved his time in the limelight and fully deserved to get one over on his ex-employers. It was a good game, great display of attack vs. defence. Full of drama and excitement. Bayern won't be no pushovers in the final though I do expect Inter to be controlled and disciplined in Madrid and triumph.
  12. Italian's were defending alright. But Barca was in a bad shape imho. No creativity at all. Left side was weak. Also Ibrahimovic had a bad game.

Italians fooled the world again. Only they can win without ball posession. Barca is the best team when they are on a roll though, but Inter knew exactly to defuse them. Haven't seen Messi, Zlatan or Xavi at all.

Think Bayern would be tough to beat for Milan. (And i hope Bayern wins) Since their defense is good and their attack even better. Plus they dont need to rule the game to score a goal.
