  3. Why are refs so fucking blind, they never see offside because they are retarded or something ?
  4. Terrible match by both Auxerre and Ajax.

Weird that sometimes you have to wait a minute to take a free kick, this time they took the free kick during the wistle.

Anyway, Ajax had the chances, if you dont score 'm you can wait to conceive.

Yesterday he was just unstopable! His acceleration just before the third goal was amazing Also supprised by FC Copenhagen, they are almost secure for a spot in the next round!!! And last but not least FC Twente did a GREAT job against Bremen, good to have such a strong Dutch team in the Champions League again

P.s. Too bad for him that he is born in Wales, no change to shine on a World Cup

He plays well in the league but his 2 games vs Inter have been some of the best ive seen. This time last year he couldnt even get a game.... now look at him, same with Alan Hutton

Ok, thanks for the info. Heard that Martin Jol (former Tottenham Manager, now ajax head coach) wanted to take him with him to Amsterdam. Too bad for them that didnt happen, now he's likely at least 3 times as expensive By the way, all of us predicted the games from yesterday totaly wrong!! I only had the draw between Milan and Madrid right

Who's in for a regular Champions League Toto Game??? We can start a topic and make it work if you are interested?

  7. Lol, if you're being serious, I'd be up for it. Get some league tables going for a bit of competition.
  8. Was thinking about what Coen said a few posts up. Who would be up for a regular prediction game? Suppose if we get a few people up for it then we could either start off in here or have a dedicated thread.

I think personally it'd be best to have a leader to keep it organised. Have a little league table going to add a competitive edge. Then I guess we could take an initial vote to see what we're predicting. Either:

    - Champions League games (3 month break between Dec/Feb and not regular)
    - Games in a single league (E.g. English Premiership, not really fair for the members outside UK)
    - Selection of games from major leagues (Requires a bit of research to find tasty fixtures)

I'd personally vote for predicting correct scores as opposed to home win, draw etc. This way we can have 3 points for a correct score, 1 point for correct outcome and 0 points for completely wrong prediction.

And in terms of the games we predict, I'd be more in favour of a selection of games across Europe, maybe 6 games plus an extra 4 picked from European/domestic cups played midweek.

Anyway, enough of what I think, what do you other football fans think?
