1. Security in 2022 is going to a nightmare. Wonder if anyone will attend....

  2. surely i won't.. man they are picking all these places i'll never be able to/ want to go to...
  3. The 11 hour time difference will be fun!
  4. These 2 countries were willing to pay the most is my guess.....

  5. Probably. England weren't going to win because Sepp Blatter just does not like the nation. I would've thought they'd choose a much richer nation in terms of football heritage than Russia though. Only way England will get it now is either wait until 2030's or hope Brazil mess up between now and 2014. Then it'd probably go to nation ranked way down the rankings, Papua New Guinea 2014? Or are they shortlisted for 2026?

I'm not bothered that England didn't get it in all fairness, more bothered by who have got 2018 and 2022.
  6. Predictions for this weekend's matches can be posted in the predictions thread

  7. Indeed !

Still proud about Belgium and Holland though.
  8. Reportedly, England receieved only 2 votes. Pathetic.
  9. I can understand Russia, Eastern Europe for a change. But Qutar ? Average temperatures of 42 degrees celcius and their national team

I heard they are gonna create some sort of system in the stadiums, to regulate the the temperatures inside the stadiums.

With these two winners I think the Fifa prove again that they are really corrupt, because Qutar and Russia are the two richest countries which they could choose.
Blatter said something that he was really happy Poetin was there because he is a good promoter for Russia, but he was the only famous people for Russia. England got Beckham, the prince and the prime minister. Belgium/holland got Cruijff, Gullit, Hiddink, the prime minister of Holland and Pfaff.
