rumours are getting serious by now that our goal keeper of Schalke & the national team, Manuel Neuer, will leave Schalke and play for Bayern Munich from the new season on. If that gets confirmed......

Well, Schalke is really surprising everyone this season, both in the Bundesliga and in the Champions League, so it woulnd't surprise me if they sell some of their players and acquire some new ones. It would be the obvious thing to happen. I agree that he's a fantastic goalkeeper, and shouoldn't be leaving his club... and even less go to the München adversary

you see, I understand the business. He's one of the best goalkeepers in Europe, and with all due respect and love for my team, Schalke is not among the top teams in Europe - not on the long term. We're good in Europe competition this year, but average in the national league.
For a player of his talent and value, it is only natural to leave our team now after this season, when Schalke will still get money for him. Football is a business and all. I'd see him leave for Italy or Spain or England or any other German team that can provide him with a chance to play on top of the European leagues next season -- BUT (!!!) you just don't go for Bayern Munich. You just don't. Bayern won't get him because they need him, they always have too many good players that just rot on the sideline never playing for their millions -- Bayern has a habit to buy the best players away from other teams just so these teams lose their good players. It's the Bayern tactic, everyone knows that. It's a shame, a real shame, for a goalkeeper like Manuel Neuer who has been part of Schalke for 20 years of his life, to go to those Munich idiots (with all due respect to any Bayern fan reading along, this is just my opinion). Munich is a no go. If Neuer leaves for their goddamn millions and thinks he needs to become a Munich idiot -- then he's blinded by the money, and that's a real disappointment. Football is a religion in my area -- and there is only one forbidden thing you must never do --> go to Bayern Munich. Major fail.
