I REMEMBER the days when Norwich finished 3rd in the Prem and got into the UEFA Cup!...lol. Even if I was only 3...I remember watching us beat Bayern Munchen in the old Olympic Stadion (THE ONLY British team to manage it I'll have you all know, learn and remember!). Jeremy Goss' wonder volley and Mark Bowen's far post header - those really were the days...

I remember that game too, pretty good side then.Didn't they play Inter Milan next, with Berkgamp in thier side ? I love the time I went to Carrow Road.May Bank Holiday Monday 1987,won 1 - 0,goal after 45 seconds............won the League.Parked up outside some B & B,guy comes out, bangs on the window and says "....are you going the game later ?",invites us into the B & B ,goes in,it was only where the Norwich City players used to go after training. It was mint, bar, snooker table, stayed there for a good couple of hours. So I always remember Norwich for that. You may not like me saying this, but I enjoyed my visit to Portman Road too.....

January 1994 we (Everton) get Mike Walker as Manager.Strangest Manager we ever had.He lasted about 10 months, absolute crap he was, didn't have a clue......but the crowd loved him, work that out.......

  4. ManU are gonna be champions. I wanted to see Ronaldo crying

We are not champions for this season, but that is not a reason for not destroying ManU at Stamford Bridge

Ha, it is, I'd always associated it with the idea of misogynism etc., but then hastily realised it is more implying a partisan attitude regardless of any opposition, so I understood what you meant and accordingly adjusted what I originally put...

  11. This is photo of Slaven Bilic, Croatian national football team coach, taken today during shooting video for new single of his rock band.

To remind you, last year he was elected as the best young football coach in the world and he is great fan of U2.

Slavan Bilic is an absolute legend. End of. He helped Croatia make World Cup '98 in France one of the greatest football tournaments ever! I've had a soft spot for you guys ever since

That may sound surprising coming from an English person but I've had enough of the English football team and just don't care that much anymore. I usually look out for Poland's results first and foremost these days because I'm part Polish through my grandparents (aswell as Italian lol...complex ancestry, you might say)...
