    Inter '10
(but we did it the same)

  2. just saw the highlights of the game two things were clear
    1) sum of the players will have great acting careers once they retire from football, im just glad the EPL doesnt have that much crap in it
    2) Messi is unstoppable

glad barca r going through though, get back at madrid for knocking Spurs out
  3. Mourinho's teams tend to play big games in a defensive way and when you do that you need to ride your luck to keep a clean sheet and last night his luck ran out. He can moan all he likes but his own tactics backfired on him big time. It worked in the Copa Del Rey. it didnt last night

He instills both a sneaky and nasty streak in his team and although Pepe's sending off was harsh. it was a deliberate foul to continue to kill a tie in which his were the home team - poor form. How ironic that an overreaction to a foul and the pressure applied by Barcelona players cost Mourinho the game. The same tactics his teams have deployed throughout his managerial career...

Some Barca players are no saints (Sergio Busquets is a continual disgrace) but what football has been played in El Classico this seasonhas been done by them. They are absolutely majestic to watch and Messi proved yet again that he is the greatest player of his generation and the best player since Maradona

Anti Football 0 Football 2 and I'm delighted.

Question is, is he as good as George Best or Bobby Charlton?

(Yes, a thoroughly defunct question but it's one of those that gets asked by a fair few )
  5. A lot of people said only Best or Maradona could have scored a goal like Messi's second.
  6. Messi is definetely the best player in recent times; to be considered the best ever he should start to do the same things with Argentina too.
Maradona did what he did in Napoli, not exactly the Barcelona of today, and won a world cup all alone (placing second in another one).

anyway 52 goals in this season .. til now

  7. I scored a similar one only a few months back on my left foot (which is shocking compared to my right) minutes after dislocating my knee-cap!

Granted, we were playing 7-a-side and it was against my friends at uni...

    ...BUT IT ALL STILL COUNTS!

Haha, maybe we can put up a new poll:

"Who is the best player ever, Lionel or Harry?"
  9. By the way, I think Mourinho should be suspended for a long time. Again, he's stating that Barcelona only won because all referees and all of UEFA are in favour of Barcelona. He's insinuating and stating so much shit, it's unreal.

He's such a sore loser, it's getting more and more ridiculously childish.
  10. just saw the fouls from the game and Mourinho's reactions on tv. unbelievable

  11. Add me to that poll, hahaha, I've made a lot of beautiful goals
