1. I wouldnt blame Gareth Bale if he left Spurs for Barca, they play unbeatable football and he would fit in well there.
  2. By the way, KUDOS to Puyol for giving Abidal the captain's armband and therefore letting him be the one picking up the cup. Incredible moment.

  3. Fortunately the birthday ended sooner than expected so I had the opportunity to watch, amazing game. Messi was in top shape which made the difference.

  4. Definitely the beautiful side of football. I genuinely had a lump in my throat, and I'm not a Barca fan. To be able to come back from what he went through, Abidal really is a hero. The best team in Europe won the biggest trophy in European club football, and deserved it. You can't help but salute them.

That said, I reckon Norwich would have 'em

  5. Barca what A team!
Messi is the best Player in the World

  6. have to disagree there, Bale isnt THAT good.

  7. Agree, first let him play a full season with A-scores every single match. This season it was just a few highlights and too much matches where he was invisible.
  8. AS Monaco goes down to League 2 I always liked that club.

Sampdoria, Deportivo and now also AS Monaco its a shame teams like those have to go down.

Absolutely, it's not too long ago that these clubs did great things in the national and international leagues. Pity.
  10. Deportivo de la Coruña is going to 2nd league here, it was shocking when it happened last week. They have won around 8 leagues and 5 or 6 King's cups, it is shocking to see them in such a bad situation. Oh anyway, there are 3 places that have to be filled, someone had to be the chosen

EDIT. Now I see Bart had already mentioned Deportivo in his post... I didn't recognise it at first, sorry. Anyway, my post is equally valid haha
