Lol, indeed - in time, he could be great, but at the moment he's simply a very good player who's had a few standout performances on a big-stage, but playing Inter Milan at the San Siro is a far-cry from a rainy night at Ewood Park . . . it's not even a case of double-marking etc., fact is English teams' defences have the measure of him. In Europe, no one knew about him, and he proved to be a Joker in the pack. I mean, think Rubin Kazan - in the last couple of years, they've been one of the few teams to consistently trouble Barca in the Champions' League, I mean I don't know about any of you guys but I won't forget their 2-1 win at the Nou Camp a couple of seasons back. Why? Because no one know enough about them and got rumbled. Are Rubin the greatest team in Europe? Hell no, but they knew Barca and Barca didn't know them, and they got the better of them on more than one occasion.

That said, I like Bale and hope he fulfils his potential.

Maybe at Norwich...

I have never, really never, seen such enthusiasm the days and weeks before the match (also during the match) in the whole country, as the Red Devils finally began to develop attractive, offensive football again and with a new victory, we would take a big step to Euro 2012.
Unfortunately, Witsel missed a penalty at minute 72.

You guys have such a bright future though, you've got quality players who are only just starting out in the major leagues, with the right guidance you could be a force to be reckoned with for the next decade. Hope you do, in any case. I still remember the side you guys had back in the late 90s with Scifo, Wilmots et al! Good times
