  1. in two days, this Saturday July 23rd, for the first time in more than 5 months (can't believe it), I'll be back to a stadium.......... for heaven's sake, how I missed it

    anyways, as you know Schalke 04 is my team, and this Saturday we'll play the SuperCup final vs our eternal and biggest opponent, Dortmund
    Derby Time it is

    will be in the Nordkurve (North Stand) as always, best place in the world for a football game.

    this is one of the best things that happen during every match..... we in the North Stand calling out for the fans in the South Stand ("Suedkurve" ).... calling out Schalke 04 at each other -- it's so loud you wouldn't believe it

  4. Amazingly, the Scottish football season kicks off this weekend (waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay too early) so fingers crossed that we (Celtic) can win the League this season

    Our opening game is on Sunday - away to Hibernian. Not a home game but Hibs are from Edinburgh so I'll get there in no time

  5. So much so that when I saw the Rangers game on Sky earlier, I didn't catch it properly and thought they were randomly showing a re-run of a match from a recent season lol.
  6. All competitions in Europe might start a little earlier due to the EC next year
  7. Manchester United vs my Chicago Fire tonight at Soldier Field. I'm predicting a 8-0 loss for my men from Chicago
  8. German Supercup game is live on youtube for anyone whos interested.
  9. Van der vaart has scored 2 pretty decent free kicks in spurs warm up games, hopefully he keeps that going into the season
  10. SuperCup last night -- we did it -- Schalke won vs Dortmund in penalty shooting. fantastic game it was
