  1. Amazingly, the Scottish football season kicks off this weekend (waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay too early) so fingers crossed that we (Celtic) can win the League this season

    Our opening game is on Sunday - away to Hibernian. Not a home game but Hibs are from Edinburgh so I'll get there in no time

  2. So much so that when I saw the Rangers game on Sky earlier, I didn't catch it properly and thought they were randomly showing a re-run of a match from a recent season lol.

  6. Van der vaart has scored 2 pretty decent free kicks in spurs warm up games, hopefully he keeps that going into the season
  7. SuperCup last night -- we did it -- Schalke won vs Dortmund in penalty shooting. fantastic game it was

  11. No sure if he is really going, Ajax said that the clubs didn't agree about the transfer money. So I dont know if he is going to Roma.
    But if he goes, i'm ok with it he deserves a new club and we got a good replacement with Vermeer. But to be honest I think he can go to a better and bigger club, he is one of the best keepers of the world imo and I think a club like AC Milan or Arsenal should get a new and better goalkeeper and Stekelenburg isn't really expensive because he only got a contract for one year.
  12. i've just read in a italian newspaper that his agent said they reached an agreement for 6 milions, but you're right in football market you never know till there is not the officiality
    anyway i also think he's a very good one for the few matches i saw of him (one in particula vs Milan)
    he could have been also a good substitute of Van der Saar in Man Utd
