a player like Snejider maybe .. not Wes though

Only bad thing is the time (7 o'clock), and I wonder if the atmosphere in the stadium is going to be just as good as during the CL matches I visited.

I think De Gea is a great goalkeeper but it is very hard to play for one of the biggest teams in the world when you are that young and of course he isnt as good as Van Der Sar
The defence of United is pretty good, Vidic and Evra are in the top 5 of the world at their positions imo but I think Ferdinand is getting to old and the right back, still Smalling right?, isnt a real back player. Maybe United could try to get Van der Wiel from Ajax or Walker of Spurs (sorry Andrew ) Jones is a great talent but I think Evans isnt good enough for United.
The middfield is pretty solid but no real stars there Carrick, Fletcher, Park and Anderson are all pretty average players imo. Cleverly could become a great player. I think Sneijder would really make United better.

I do remember you saying about the away tie, couldn't remeber if it was flights or accomodation that was stopping, but if it's exams

Vidic and Evra are both great players but they need two more players to build a solid wall. Rafael has all the traits of being a really good defender but he needs to learn that when he plays RWB other players won't be so eager to cover him. Nani won't drop back as Beckham used to do when Neville surged forward. In central defence, Jones is the natural replacement for Ferdinand but Alex Ferguson insists on playing him in midfield.

De Gea was a great goalkeeper when he was in Spain but he's found it difficult in the Premier League. In contract, Anders Lindegaard who was bought last January for a small fee actually looks more comfortable in goal and has played quite well when given the chance.

At present United and Man City are on an almost even playing field, if United win tonight they'll be equal on points but there's still a lot of room for improvement for United.

There is a limit in the Premier League for registered squad members and with the players they have, someone is going to miss out if they keep buying. United however can easily send Macheda out on loan and then buy someone. Man City would struggle with the loan unless they paid the players wage on behalf of the other club.

they're going to send Tevez out, aren't they?
  4. What does happen to Inter that they are releasing many players ?
  5. Wasnt Tevez going to AC Milan or Inter Milan?
  6. Last we heard of Tevez, he was playing golf in Argentina. He's just taking Man City along for a ride.

  7. some "old" players seem to be "squeezed" after Mou went away .. Motta, Stankovic, Maicon are to much often injured lately .. Cambiasso is not the same this year (it seems to me always tired) .. Milito is only a distant relative that 2 years ago .. Lucio and Chivu are almost done with Inter, they gave what they had i think.
the only one we can always count on is the immortal Zanetti
we need fresh forces, especially in midfield and cash for that.
  8. Tevez seems to be closer to ac milan, but they want him on loan .. Inter is moving more silently lately and we'd buy him, that is what the City wants.
i know the Inter manager Branca is having a meeting with a City one today or in these days.
who knows maybe Tevez will remain playing golf like Tim said hehe
  9. haha Zanetti is like a 25 years old player ....

I see you have to change the team but they don t buy great players like Inter deserves . Now is playing a japanese guy ( i dont know him) and he is doing good things but Inter can t buy a great player ?
I just remenber that you bought Forlan ...how is he playing?

    D-I-E-G-O

    Couple of old favourites there.
  11. buying great players in these times is not that easy .. maybe we're saving money for ... Messi hehehe
never seen Forlan that much .. he just played 45min in the last match after a long injury .. i'm still waiting him .. we need him in the front i think

  12. Yuto Nagatomo hehe
and yes he's great lately .. always one of the best on the field .. but he can't be him to make the team quality jump up
