1. Jose Mourinho expresses his desire to come back to the Premier League, despite Real Madrid being 7 points clear of Barcelona in La Liga. Real Madrid have been keen to express their own desire for Arsene Wenger, straight swap? Mourinho did previously say that he'd only return if the position at Manchester United was available and Ferguson has just passed 25 years in charge (said himself that they can only expect a maximum of three more years of him). So, interesting times. If Ferguson did retire this summer, Mourinho would be a great replacement, so long as he can serve for a long period of time (10 years...). United have always been successful when consistency is there. Matt Busby (24 years), Alex Ferguson (25 years)...

I'd be disappointed to see Mourinho join Arsenal because that would potentially tie him up for when Ferguson does retire.
  2. i'm wondering why i and Tim are going to avoid this topic in these days ... hehehe

  5. Ronnie, I have the UK broadcast of the 1998-99 Champions League quarter final game between United and Inter (both home and away) if you're interested? I know you got knocked out (Drew 1-1 at San Siro) but I guess it'd be cool to see some classic players running around. I can upload it to MediaFire if you're interested?

I only need to get three more game from that season to have the complete set of United Champions League games from that season
  6. yes thank you it would be nice .. so i can recall a couple of complaints about the referee in the first match at Old Trafford

  8. Boca won 1-0 another "friendly" over River plate .

Inter had a bad day , aren t they ?

    Untied... maybe bad year ..?

  9. Still a long way to go, only three points behind Man City with 16 games left to play. Also we see the return of Ferdinand, Cleverley, Young, Anderson, Nani and Rooney soon. Ferguson needs to stop messing around with weak players. Get Ferdinand in ahead of Evans, partnered with Jones. Tell Rafael to stop going forward like he does. Get Cleverley back in the team to play Scholes' role. Get Nani in ahead of Valencia.

    Transfer deadline day tomorrow...
