    that´s true. it´s amazing and weird at the same time to be online at the S04 forum right now. everyone, everyone shares the sadness and plans for the message of support on Saturday before the match. it is like a shared memory of the days he brought to us, and the tears are flowing. That happening on a fanbase that is too used to fight each other verbally on the forum is a strange thing to witness. it always takes the sad and bad things to make people remember what really matters in life

    Absolutely, personal health and life take priority over everything. I'm sure even Schalke's rival fans will be feeling for the guy.

    I've just realised, the Munich Air Disaster will be remembered at the next United home game, against Liverpool...they're already in for a bad day because of Suarez, but if their fans are disrespectful during the build up, they'll be in for a nightmare.

    oh that´s right, on February 6. Geez, it gives me the chills to look at the pictures again. The tragedy of that is impossible to form into words you know what, in 2008 I bumped into Bobby Charlton by pure chance, he was doing a book signing in a book shop in Dublin. I made photos of him back then.... and only now, with the help of a bit of research, I realize he was one of them who survived the crash

    I hope there will be enough respect on all sides for an honorable moment of remembrance before that home game, but usually (...) people stand united in such moments, no matter which team is r was affected. It will be emotional though for sure.

    There was a small made-for-TV film made about it called 'United' was on last year and it was a truly touching film, even my girlfriend was touched by it and she doesn't watch much football. Some Liverpool fans falsley made up a story about United fans spitting on the Hillsborough memorial after the recent FA Cup game, so there's a little bad blood already between the two clubs. If Liverpool were to go behind in the game, I wouldn't put it past a small section of their fans to start a song up.

    Both tragedies deserve their due respect, particularly for the memory of those who perished.

    EDIT: Game over, title race thrown wide open as United are level on points and Spurs come 5 points behind.

    I've heard the rumour, no confirmation from United or Inter yet. Only have 55 minutes, so unless Sir Alex is going to announce it in his post match interview, I think it may be false.

    Nah, disagree. He may be better than Carroll and Torres but some clubs still have common sense. £25m for a player who has decreased in value (€27m to Madrid, then €15m to Inter) is fair considering the time it is on deadline day.

    Dutch sources seem to be driving the rumour.
