  2. I'm prepared for anything Ajax could easily take it to extra time if they play like they did in Amsterdam. As much as I'd like you to be sitting at home enjoying the game, I hope we can put you out of it before half time then turn on the style.
  3. Are you really serious about that you think that Ajax might have a chance? Sir Alex also was really positive about Ajax, but I thought he just sayed things like that to be nice .

    Last week United played a weak game, especially in the first half. But in the second half they tried a bit harder and easily scored two goals.
  4. Last week United were weak, but at home this season we've shown the same vulnerability. The thing is, if they come out and play, then no, Ajax stand little chance of actually overturning the 2-0 deficit. But, if United play sloppy football as they did in the first half last week and have done at other times in the season whilst Ajax play the same as they did in the first half last week and take their chances, they have a chance. Ajax played well last week in the first half, that should be enough of a boost for them to have a decent go tonight.

    All depends how each team starts the game. United have a history this season of just switching off. I can't see Sir Alex choosing a strong side with an away trip to Norwich in mind at the weekend.

    Well done, winning on Old Trafford is a great result and with some more luck we could have scored the 1-3 and going through. On the TV I only heard the Ajax fans, I'm very proud

  8. We had half a dozen Ajax fans right in front of us, they played friendly before kick off, but when they cheered the goals, they got some stick.

    Ajax fans weren't bad, propbably shouldn't have played Three Little Birds for them before kick off...

  10. How'd Vertonghen play? I heard his turnover led to Utd's goal, but apart from that did he look the goods?

  11. If you ask me he is the only Ajax player who could handle a bigger league like The Premier League. The other are not good enough or too young to make a transfer already.

    Redknapp and Manchini were in Old Trafford last night, Redknapp for Vertonghen and Manchini for Eriksen. Its ok for Vertonghen to make a transfer at the end of the season but I really hope Eriksen will stay a couple of years in Amsterdam.

  12. Amazing Too bad such a player won't play on the EC, due to van Persie being even better this season.
